  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

    Illinois Mandate | 1-Hour Office Certificate

    Public Act 101-0221 amended the Illinois Human Rights Act ("IHRA") requiring:

    Illinois employers are to provide annual sexual harassment prevention training by December 31, 2020, and annually thereafter; restaurants and bars are to establish and disseminate a written policy on sexual harassment prevention training and provide "supplemental" sexual harassment prevention training; and the Illinois Department of Human Rights ("IDHR") to develop a model sexual harassment prevention training program for use by employers.

  • Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation

    1 CE Hour

    New Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Continuing Education (CE) requirement to renew licenses issued by DPR beginning January 1, 2020. A new law passed in 2019 requires individuals to renew their license to also complete 1 hour of CE on the topic of sexual harassment prevention training. This requirement is in effect for all renewals after January 1, 2020.

    Illinois has expanded its list of which professions are considered mandated reporters of child abuse in the state. The law, SB 3833, was signed into law in May 2022 and went into effect on January 1, 2023. Learn who this change affects and what mandated reporters in Illinois need to know about the law.

  • City of Chicago Bystander Training

    1 CE Hour

    Be compliant with the mandatory bystander training required by the Illinois Human Rights Act. In June of 2022, Chicago amended the Chicago Human Rights Ordinance (CHRO) to require that all employers in Chicago provide one hour of bystander training annually for all employees.

  • Domestic Violence Awareness

    1 CE Hour | Love Should not Hurt

    This Domestic Violence / Sexual Assault course meets all IDFPR requirements for Cosmetologists, Estheticians, Hair Braiders, Nail Technicians, and Teachers.

  • Sexual Harassment Prevention for Workers in Restaurants & Bars

    1 CE Hour

    All employers and employees within the state are required to complete training on sexual harassment prevention strategies and awareness. Restaurants and bars must establish their own company policies on sexual harassment that meet the model standards provided by the state, as well as the specific law that applies only to the service industry.
